I also love to play simple songs, it is really hard to write a good sounding song which is simple to play and works on just an acoustic guitar. I always love it when I discover them. Also when the song is simple to play they always lend themselves to a bit of improve with the chords and you can always mess around with hammer ons, pull offs, muted strums etc!!! Plus this song is just fun to play, when we do it live I like to see how fast I can play it!!!!

You can do a modified F (X33211) where you just use the first finger to bar the bottom 2 strings only and the other fingers are the same and don’t play the top string. I usually teach this one to younger kids or real beginners who usually don’t have the finger strength yet.

When I first started playing it took me ages to get the F right, all it is is practice, practice and more practice!!!!

You should also check out our cover of the song and let us know what you think. It is pretty easy, the only difficult thing is the quick chord changes.

Woops there is no second lesson on this one (I was thinking about Throw Your Arms Around Me that I just posted), ignore that last sentence unless you want to learn how to play that as well.

Thanks glad you liked it and thanks for the comment. Make sure you check out our cover of the song also by clicking on the Video Response. I have also just posted the second lesson on the song using open chords for a second guitar or if you prefer the sound of those chords you can use it for a single guitar.
