    Yes, in this example there is lots of gain, I do them also with a clean sound and a compressor which is really helpful. Also yes, the tap is fairly hardly hit.

    I didn’t know it, but I’d seen it done on Boss demo videos for their pedals. So it’s an “Ah, that’s how it’s done.” Lots of gain? Hitting it pretty hard?
