Dimebag used the start of that lick in the Walk solo, only 3 picks altogether and you get 9 notes its pretty sweet and gives your picking hand a much needed break, especially in heavy metal down picking songs were your picking hand gets reallly tired, this technique is also what got Paul Gilbert famous, hes the master at pull offs and hammer ons, he even thought Brian Carroll (Buckethead)

its actually a custom. its got the mother of pearl diamond inlay on the headstock. (those inlays on the neck threw me tho. usually its just the solid block inlays) but the supreme has got that circle with a banner across it.

I really think that the folks here at “rock on good people” should not use these tube amps if they aren’t going to get a good tone out of them!

The notes come out of A Harmonic Minor, but he’s rooting it more on the E note. The notes would be A B C D E F G# A. But rooting in E, It would be similar to E Phrygian, but that G# throws it off. I think that must be Phrygian Dominant. I had heard the name before, but hadn’t really put together what it meant until just now.. Interesting sound.
