I think it’s Boss Loopstation, he has a demo on his own channel I think.

“I take my ring finger and just slap it across the rest of the strings.” The formal term for holding down more than one string with a single finger is a “barre.”

    Marty-
Really enjoy your lessons. You are a very informative teacher. Do you have a series that I can buy? You have been tremendously helpful. Thank you.

Very nice and informative. I’ve used these chord shapes for a few years now but really didn’t know all of the different variations. Plus I use my thumb for the bass note. This gives me a few different options. Thanks for posting!

The pedal your asking about is a loop station probably.. Boss makes a small version and a larger version.. both work really well for practicing.. I use mine everyday… I even use it on stage……its especially great for practice though.. everything from timing to scales…and learning your leads timing… the guitar has great Tone.. as Dave says.. always the search for tone… he’s playing clean sounds like, deffinitly tube. Try laying some high gain, long sustain leads on top Jazz fusion baby

not easy to cover all of the four top strings–some are more muted when I do it–Marty makes it look easy–love the lessons!
