    Great lesson Marty. You always seem to bring a great instructional practice routine together with an interesting and worth while method of practicing the “theory”. Learning with out learning, what a concept.

    It’s supposed to give you ideas for licks. these patterns appear everywhere in blues, rock, and metal guitar.

    The most important part of playing the blues is the phrasing. Anyone can play the scale, but if you phrase it badly, you will sound like crap.
