Are you saying the action is too low??
Is that why it’s buzzing?
But I also think this guy ruined the guitar by filing the frets.
I was thinking of ajusting the action myself but I’m not sure if I should.

Man, you diddn’t need to do that it was probebly the action was set wrong on it

Yeah, it was buzzing when I bought it but I didn’t know anything about guitars back then so I didn’t take it seriously. I took it to a guitar shop a few months later and the guy said he filed down the frets, he also put 10 gauge strings on it. Most of the buzzing went away and I used 10s for a while. But I recently went back to 9s and all the buzzing came back, as a matter of fact, it’s worst than before, especially low E and A. By the way, he charged me 75 bucks for this crappy set up.

Was it buzzing when you bought it?
Have you set up the action or had it set up professionally?

Man, Mexican Fenders suck. I have one and almost every note is buzzing. It’s frustrating.

I know NOTHING about manufacturing, but is it extremely difficult to simply stamp the date of manufacture on the instrument? Why all the elaborate codes? Is Da Vinci making these or something??

There’s no serials on it. Well, not visibly at least. I think there may be some under the neck but I’m not gonna take it off xD Was hoping visual cues might indicate which type it is…
